Dear all,a friend of mine recently introduced me to this wonderful game. Having browsed through the myriad of heroes, my choice immediately fell on Vyrah and Skye. I simply love animal companions for my fantasy characters - and particularly raptors! Unfortunately, my friend (who will be the overlord) told me that Vyrah can be used but is a 1st edition character. So I searched eBay, Auggies, Miniature Market and amazon.com/co.uk/.de/.fr - to no avail.
So I'm hoping you have any more ideas on where to find one. If anybody has, for some reason, a spare copy, and would be willing to sell or trade it, I'd also really appreciate it.
As an alternative, I've found Durik and an unnamed wolf companion. Since I'm a complete Descent newbie (I mainly play D&D RPG, D&D Board Games, LotR card games and Hero Quest), I would also gladly read any impressions on how differently these two heroes, and their animal companions, play during a campaign.
