When 2e first came out, we got about halfway through the Shadow Rune campaign before scheduling issues and new games kept getting in the way.

This, of course, didn't stop me from buying LotW, Trollfens, and LoR...along with Splig, Zachareth, and Bol'Goreth as they came out.

Recently, after painting Battlelore, I became addicted, so I started painting my 2e stuff...which has me wanting to play it again!

I will most likely be playing with one other person, him obviously controlling 2 heroes. If we get more people along the way, we'll figure out how to balance it...but here's my question:

What do I do with all this stuff?

Should I just pick one of the mini expansions to add some flavor to Shadow Rune, or should I just add everything from all expansions into the pile and go from there?

I usually OL from a GM's perspective; like, I want the heroes to win, but I want to make them sweat for it. If I'm playing against one person, however, I'd might as well play like I mean it. I've read on here that a competitive OL wouldn't want to use the mini expansions because they tip the scales in favor of the heroes.

If that is the case, what do I do with all this stuff? Do I add the shop items, monsters, OL cards, heroes and classes to the pool...but stow the rumor cards (or whatever mechanic is used to trigger the expansion quests)? Or should I not even bother adding all of that stuff to the basic campaign?

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed.
