Thread: Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition):: General:: If a player doesn't get to play character every session , will his character fall behind the rest of the party?

I'm very interested in getting this game for my family. We have 5 members so we would need to rotate through people playing as the Overload. When a person is the overlord, that means their personal hero isn't playing and able to get stronger. Will that hero fall behind the others making him less useful in future sessions of the campaign?
