Hello

Im planing on buying descent, but i have never been into the series.
So i have a few questions i hope u can help me with.

I plan on buying the base game plus the labyrinth of ruin.
As i understand these two are the "main" boxes, with campigns.

1.What does the other two expansions offer exactly?
Are they essential for the experience?

2.I read alot about the game being in the favor of the heroes, why is that(something about rumour cards)?

3.Is it true that this is helped by the lieutenant packs can help with this issue?
Is it ok to just buy some of the lieutenants?
What are the best 4 lieutenants?
