Hello everyone. Been trying to get a descent group together for a while, and finally got a group together for it. The play group is familiar with d&d, and I've gamed with them a good bit recently so I'm pretty sure they'll pick up on the turn sequence and actions available to them pretty quickly. We're all also mtg players, so the keyworded abilities should become second nature relatively fast. Really just looking for tips on presenting them their options during character selection and setting up the first encounter as informatively and smoothly as possible. I mean a good/bad first experience could set the mood for the rest of the campaign.Thinking of having the heroes layed out based on archetype, with that archetypes corresponding class decks in the vacinity. Hopefully I'll have the first scenario setup before they all get there so we can jump right in. How much table space do you think would be adequate for a full play group? We'll be playing at a gaming store, so wondering if a 28x50" would be plenty or if I should put two together to give us a nice big square.
Any tips would be much appreciated!
