If you're like me your new Descent game came with a few characters with bent parts such as a sword, or leg, or the whole miniature is leaning forward or back. If you don't want to play Descent with a goblin who looks like he's hanging ten on his base for the rest of your life, listen up.
Most people try to bent the figure back at room temperature and get either no results or the figure breaks. The secret is bringing the temperature of the miniature up to make it soft. The solution is easy:
1. Bring pot of water up to just below boiling where the water starts to form bubbles on the bottom of the pot.
2. Turn your burner to medium.
3. Dip your problem mini in the water and submerge just the area you need to fix for right around 5 seconds.
4. Remove the mini from the water and bend it the way you want and hold it for about 30 seconds or until it cools off. (Blowing on it will speed up this process.
5. Repeat if it didn't come out the way you wanted.
This should save you from the embarrassment of playing with bent figures. Enjoy playing with Descent!
