I have all of 1ED and have the base 2ED + Lair of the Wyrm + Conversion Kit. I am looking to snag the rest of the expansions over Christmas.The expansions all have a ton of components, new quests, heros, skills, overlord cards, etc. Since I have only seen one mini expansion, which parts of the other expansions can always be combined into the game.
For instance, if you were starting a new campaign can you mix in all of the new shop cards from all of the expansions? Can you use any of the heroes and their appropriate skills in any of the expansions?
Basically are there components that are really only relevant if you are playing a particular campaign?
