Hello everybody, I am wondering what do you think about the possible competition between Warhammer Quest (card game) and the cooperative variant of Descent.
Up until now FFG has released three single cooperative adventures for Descent which remind me the old Warhammer Quest. Many people (including me)were hoping for something more than single adventures, such an entire cooperative campaign or a casual dungeon crawler (like WHQ). While we were waiting for it from FFG, many variants have been developed by the fanbase (List of (un)official adventures and variants for the cooperative mode).
Warhammer Quest is going to be released soon (it was expected in the Q3 of this year) and it will probably be followed by expansions after.
So is there still hope for an official big cooperative expansion for Descent (before a 3rd edition of Descent...) ??
I will buy Warhammer Quest for sure, but I would be very glad if FFG will also offer a big cooperative expansion for Descent; I really love the game but without a serious cooperative expansion my copy will be covered by dust soon.
