Thread: Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition):: General:: Skirmish (SW:IA style) as an official Descent product?

I'm sure others have suggested this before; how much interest would there be in an official 'skirmish' Descent 2e product? I have found myself playing more skirmish than campaign in SW:IA and I really wish there was a similar system that I could use with all my Descent stuff.

It would probably be pretty cheap to produce - a bunch of deployment cards for all the heroes and monsters, a bunch of command cards, and a rules booklet and booklet of skirmish maps. The real 'cost' for FFG of course would be the time in development, testing and putting together skirmish maps.

I am almost tempted to try to cobble together something on my own just to see how it goes. Out of curiosity has anyone already dabbled with a project like this? I saw one thread in the Variants forum but it looked like it was just starting out discussing the approach and various point costs.
