Hello everyone,I'm hoping tou could spare a few moments to help me out with a few qestions here. I'd appreciate that very much.
I'm considering getting Descent 2e, mainly for solo play.
- does the game have a substantial storytelling element to it? Is there room for character development (beyond leveling up)? Is the gameplay mostly battles based, or is there more to the game (again, my focus is solo mode)?
- is the base set (plus the app, obviously) expansive enough, or would I soon feel the need to get more expansions? How stand alone is it? How about the game's replay value?
- if FFG decide to discontinue the game, will the app still be available (and working)? Any guesses, perhaps based on past experience? How much does the app cost?
- last, but by no means least- do you enjoy playing the game solo mode?
