Attention my fellow nerds. Why does everyone get so hung up on the exact wording of rules? If you and the group don't like it, dump it. I miss the early eighties where companies like Jedko used to always put in a 'spirit of the game' section in all of their rules, encouraging you to tweek things you don't like or find confusing. My friends and I are always looking to make our games fun not a biochem exam.Sure agreeing to changes sometimes leads to broken bottle fights but an ambulance is only a phone call away. We changed the LOS rule for descent before our first game as well as that cutting blocked corners nonsense. It's not like a Fantasy Flight swat team is going to bust through the door, that only happens if you house rule things in a Games Workshop game.↧
