Whats up everyone...I ordered Descent on Thursday...should be arriving today or Monday. Either way, I'm extremely excited and can't wait to try this.Can anyone make any suggestions to me regarding getting into this for the first time? In terms of RPGs, I'm mostly experienced in video game versions. The closest I've come in a board game setting would be Wiz War (I customized and created my set. Lots of more interesting cards were inserted and created to emulate an RPG a bit more). Is there anything I need or would help that someone could suggest? What about LOS rules? I've heard from lots of people that the rules are terrible. What if I modded them to be like Wiz War's LOS, center to center? Would that work well in this game?
Thanks for everyone's answers and time! I'll definitely write up my first impressions after a few days of messing with this, and maybe I'll give my two cents review after finishing a campaign.
