In the second encounter of the Froze Spire quest, the Overlord wins if he starts his turn when both spaces near the exit are occupied by monsters.

The exit is behind a heavy door that is difficult to open (it requires a Might check for a hero and 2 spaces-worth of monsters for the Overlord).

I found no limitation on the Reinforcement card (3XP card on the Warlord class) that may prevent the Overlord to place reinforcement monsters directly on the exit. Couple it with a wall of big unmovable golems to guard the door, and heroes have a really narrow window to avoid defeat.

When I played that scenario last week I censored this idea, and made my reinforcement appear elsewhere: I found the option described above as too cheesy and probably a mistake in the quest definition (yes, this is a bit arrogant on my side).

Even so I managed to deploy enough blood apes to open the doors for the razorwings. And I also repeatedly forgot to apply the night-time chilling condition that forces each hero to succeed at a Might or Willpower check at the start of his turn (or suffer 1 fatigue).

What is your opinion about this specific encounter/overlord card combination?

I've read [thread=11120885]a post[/thread] in which the author (Ingipes) anticipates that him and his fellow heroes manage to win the encounter in 1 turn. I'm eager to read it because that would have prevented any use of the Reinforcement card.
