One of my favorite poem/saying is the “For Want of a Nail” text. It reads as follows:
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the message was lost.
For want of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
This applies in Descent. Here is the version I came up with:
For want of a fatigue a movement point was lost.
For want of a movement point the attack was lost.
For want of an attack the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the quest was lost.
For want of a quest the relic was lost.
For want of a relic the campaign was lost.
And all for the want of a single fatigue.
Hope you like it!
