Don't yet own this game, but playing a campaign of it now. Two questions have come up after a couple of quests...1. Do Overlord Lieutenants heal their wounds between encounters? This is a pretty big issue as it would drastically impact the outcome of certain quests yet is not spelled out (that we can find) in the rulebook. We just set up Encounter 2 of a quest featuring the vampire girl and have not yet begun play...would be useful to know if she heals her wounds, as she was pretty seriously injured in the previous encounter and one of the new win conditions involves killing her.
2. Are there any engagement rules? I vaguely recall first edition having something...not sure since I don't have that right now? Seems like this game is quite easy sometimes because heroes can run right by monsters and vice versa, charging ahead to their goal rather than fighting or getting tied up in any way....some quests are won or loss based on this. Is there anything to prevent a monster just running past heroes at will? And vice versa? Can a figure carrying a quest objective just dance past multiple hostiles to the goal? We played it as such, and it seemed to make certain quests VERY easy for the side that needed to reach the goal....they never fought, just ran their asses off.
