I haven't played the Castle Ravenloft game yet. I had a limited budget and chose Descent instead based on many reviews and production quality.Nevertheless, I think that an undead campaign similar to Castle Ravenloft could utilize their miniatures and create a campaign that would recreate the theme and feeling.
I might try this myself but I think it would be better for a veteran DM with lots of Descent and worldbuilding experience.
