I'd like to ask about your opinions on the value of the expansions. I can't seem to objectively evaluate Descent because I love the game too much. However, reason tells me that the number of components you get for the price is not that great. This is especially true when I think about expansions. Take Labyrinth of Ruin: for the same money you can get a stand-alone new games. Or Lair of the Wyrm basically costs the same as Small World, which I once wanted badly.

Don't get me wrong - I'll be getting all the expansions (when they'll be out in Polish) because they add more content to my favourite action/adventure game. And I won't regret it - I don't need more games in my collection right now. And the quality of all the components is awesome, especially the figures! I'm also excited about Labyrinth of Ruin too, mostly because of the new campaign which I hear is great and worth every penny spent. And Descent, thanks to the map tiles system, seems like a game which can be fun for a long, long time.

All in all, do you "objectively" think that FFG is okay with us: gamers and D2 fans? Or do they charge too much?
