Thread: Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition):: General:: Do lieutenants (or other expansions) make Overlord's game more interesting?

We're almost through playing the core box campaign. While some of the quests have been good fun, quite a lot of them have been weak. As an Overlord my biggest problem with Descent 2nd edition is that my options feel limited and not very fun.

You might agree or disagree, but that's not the point. The question is if the expansions and/or lieutenant packs make playing as the Overlord more interesting by bringing new tough tactical choices to the game?
