I've been working on a TileSet for 2nd Ed and in creating the Hero Icons, I was wondering if I should 'ring' the images in gold like the monsters are, or if I should just use solid colors for the hero archetype? Here's a sampling:
The top image has the 'solid colors' that I tend to use on my heroes in TileSets. The monster images I'm using have a gold ring around them (it's how they're displayed in the rule/quest books). The bottom image has this gold ring applied to the hero images. I can't decide which I like better...
Which do you prefer?
