Thread: Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition):: General:: Modern day version of HeroQuest?

For those of you who have played the new version of Descent, I wanted to ask if the game can be called a 2012 version of HeroQuest. I have been trying desperately to locate a game that was similar to HQ from the 90s and haven't been successful. I am hoping 2E Descent might be what I have been searching for.
