There are so many campaigns now for Descent: Shadow Rune, Heirs of Blood, Labyrinth of Ruin, Shadows of Nerekhall, etc. I bought Descent 2E when it was released and tried the Shadow Rune-campaign. I played lots of Descent 1E as Overlord, but the Shadow Rune-campaign really didn't do it for me. The quests didn't feel epic enough and it often came down to if I - as the Overlord - got enough Overlord cards that allowed my monsters to gain extra movement, as many quests inevitably boiled down to who did X or Y faster.
Now that the co-op app has been announced, I'm getting back to Descent 2E. And I've haven't been paying attention to the expansions. Are there quests that feature real exploration? Varied mission objectives? What are the best campaigns available for Descent 2E?
