https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/276825-mist-o... I am willing to adjust the difficulty of this campaign for heroes. We are playing all content in order, so heroes are eager to roll with CtR hybrid classes. They got several options for heroes (we use drafting to choose heroes) and right now their team is:
Talia Steelcaster + Runemaster
Laurel Monk + Apothecary
Andira Watchman + Wildlander
Lissa Battle Mage + Skirmisher
I would like to play with complementary Soulbinder OL class and a Plot deck.
I have lists of ideas on how to improve their chances. Some designs look ok, some I am not sure about:
Some, in my opinion, substantial items:
- I am going to choose weaker Plot deck, just to have some additional gameplay mechanics. Our group likes to play with threats and fortune tokens.
- I know about servants, so I am going to use only Soulbinder deck, no other extra staff like Web Traps, Imploding Trap, Infector class cards, and the likes.
- I will play Rumors to give heroes more chances to earn Gold and do extra shopping.
- I am going to randomly choose open monster groups, even thinking about to draw 2 per group and let heroes choose.
Other ideas I am not sure about:
- Increase their max Health (+2)
- Increase their max Stamina (+1)
- Give 1 MP at the start of the game
- Treat X as a blank with 0 Range.
There are some things we do not want to do:
- No one else (less experienced) player wants to play as OL
- They and I would not want OL to play subpar.
What do you guys think about this? Do you have other reasonable adjustments for this campaign?
