1) How long does a game take? 2 hours?
2) Can you play it alone with the app? Do you just buy the game (board game) and then download Road to Legend on Steam?
Or is Road to Legend just a mod and the real game is different but can also be played with an app?
3) What is the campaign like? Do you upgrade skills/heroes/buy items/equip new items during a quest or after one?
4) What game do you recommend? I love Heroquest because it is exciting what is behind the next corner or in the next room. I own all expansions but you cannot play it without the overlord and it is very simple.
I've also played about 10 missions in Gloomhaven. The game is awesome but a quest takes us 4 hours (because my friends talk so much!), which is too long for my taste...moreover, there are only some big rooms with strategic fights without the exciting "What's behind the next corner?" feeling.
There are many dungeon crawlers out there and I am not sure which one to get. It should not be too long (up to 2 hours), there should be a campaign, it should not be too simple (just dice rolling) and you should be able to play it alone/without an overlord.
Already played or own: Mice and Mystics, D&D board games, Gloomhaven, Talisman, Dungeon Quest...
Any ideas?
