There's a lot of questions of balance in these forums. Many times responded to by people saying the players or overlord made poor decisions. And victory can swing wildly from one side to the other, with good players/overlord vs poor players/overlord. But many of these posts don't get down to specifics. Sure there are minor imbalances everywhere, and that's gonna happen in any game. But there is only one true imbalance I see in the game, thus far.
Personally, I feel like the missions are designed quite well. The classes are fairly balanced between themselves (with different strengths and weaknesses for each). The only major oversight to me is, during the campaign, the heroes get stronger but the monsters don't. Sounds like a minor gripe, but after a few missions, you don't even see what the monsters DO anymore since they're dead before they even get a chance to activate. Am I the only one seeing this problem? Often times, the monsters might as well not even be there. They slow us down very slightly, but not in a particularly fun way. Most of the players wipe out the non-reds in 1 hit. That just seems wrong. It seems like they should have gotten another defense die or more health by now...
