I'm confused. Is this a good game or fundamentally flawed. This game ranks 30 but when I read popular reviews it highlights what look to me like fundamental flaws in the game undermining the entire experience. Basically the positives outweigh the negatives. Here is some of the most concerning:1. Tactical mini game that has had most of the tactics simplified (Los). So this is a tactical mini game with minimal tactics?
2. Campaign only or don't bother. Seriously the shortened length 2 hour games would want to play this mostly outside the campaign mode.
3. No real character progression. Hmmmm that sucks the only reason to play hack and slash games is levelling and becoming more awesome ...
4. Feels short but still takes a while ... outstays its welcome. These confused me the most.
5. Quest objective success highly dependant on a few dice rolls. Slanting the game heavily in on direction or another. This sounds like a serious flaw in the game.
So is this a good game in spite of what seem to be fundamental flaws to the game design? And how is there so much negative reviewing ...
