A friend and I are in the middle of a campaign, and just about to finish the Interlude and start Act II. I understand the rules state that you can only choose one class for each hero at the beginning of the campaign and that they keep that class throughout the entire campaign.We are looking to add a little variety to our game starting in Act II. As a houserule idea, what are your thoughts about allowing heroes the option to explore another class within their archtype starting in Act II? Are there potential overpowering cross-class combinations that would break the game? Or are there other general concerns with this houserule? If we do implement this at the beginning of Act II, what should we do with the starting class equipment (just discard?) and starting abilities (acquire for free or cost 1 XP each?).
