Thread: Descent: Journeys in the Dark (second edition):: General:: Lair of the Wyrm - worth buying for a newbie?

I'm in the process of setting up a new group of gamers (having got to 37 and never been a regular gamer) and played Descent (2nd ed) for the first time with two heroes. We all loved it, even though it was slow going and I kicked their arses on both parts of a Fat Goblin (thoughts to come separately).

Due to a few teething problems, we're going to start again soon (really soon, I hope) and I'm toying with getting Lair of the Worm to integrate with a full campaign.

Any thoughts?
