I finally caved in and bought both the new Descent and the conversion kit. Since I own all the expansions from the old game that leaves me with a ton of models for both sides.For those that have been using the conversion kit with the game (using models or replacements) how has it been balance wise when it comes to the monsters?
I have not even started playing Descent 2.0 but I find myself very curious on using some of my favorite monsters. Some of the smaller monsters (skeleton archers, beastmen) have alot of good memories attached to them.
I also want to paint the game, so I figure I will be introducing monsters rather slowly (painting is a new thing for me so my old set is all unpainted).I have seen some mention of "going for the large monsters" but I am really hoping that this is not always the best move.
